Andry Rajoelina has appointed his Priminister, Monja Roindefo, on Saturday.

Today, Monja Roindefo has nominated 4 ministers during the pro TGV’s meeting at the Place du 13 Mai. These ministers are supposed to replace the current government’s. He appointed his ministers of Homeland Security – Rakotomihantarizak Organes, the Decentralization and Regional Planning – Andrianainarivelo Hajo, Interior – Masimanana Manantsoa, and Finance and Budget – Benja Razafimahaleo. Monja Roindefo promised that, by the end of the week,  he will appoint all the ministers. He added that his “government” should get to work starting from Monday.

During his meeting with Marc Ravalomanana, yesterday, the Deputy UN Secretary-General for Political Affairs, Haile Menkerios, has urged both parties to a dialogue. He also expressed his intention to help Madagascar to find a peaceful and democratic solution to the crisis. Ravalomanana has accepted the role of the Secretary General of UN Ban Ki-moon as a facilitator in the crisis .

The UN envoy said that the  responsible for the deaths of 28 demonstrators killed Saturday in the Capital City by the presidential guards, was “both sides”, regime and opposition. He advised to bring the responsibles of this massacre to justice.

The UN Secretary-General for Political Affairs, Haile Menkerios, also met Andry Rajoelina. The former Mayor agreed the concept of dialogue. Andry Rajoelina said,  during a seperate meeting with Haile Menkerios, that he accepted to negotiate if and only if the meeting focused on a transitional government and early elections.

All the current President Marc Ravalomanana followers are invited to meet tomorrow at Mahamasina starting from 11.00 a.m.

The pro Ravalomanana believe that it is now high time for them to show that people are not all against the current gov or are not all following Andry TGV.

Radio MADA is incitating people who are for peace, for justice, for development to join this big meeting. Those who still believe that President Ravalomanana is still capable of realizing great things for the Island will be welcome tomorrow.

On the other side, Andry Rajoelina tried to convince his followers that within a real democracy the pro Ravalomanana are allowed to do this planned meeting. Nevertheless, Andry RAjoelina  promised his followers not to worry about it because he is sure that only a few people will attend this meeting. For the pro TGV, the strikers will take a rest tomorrow. “Tomorrow, nobody will go out from home. The workers will not work and students will not go to school,” said Andry Rajoelina.
